What kind of EPUBs can I convert?

How is my EPUB processed before narration?

We automatically clean up your EPUB so it sounds natural as an audiobook.

Elements that don't belong in audio, such as images, footnotes, figure captions, index references, and other visual-only content, are removed during the process.

You get a clean narration of your actual text, nothing more.

Do you handle chapter titles and headings?

Yes! We detect titles, headings, and subheadings in your document and add natural pauses after them. This gives the listener time to mentally transition between sections, just like a professional narrator would. The result is a much more pleasant and natural listening experience.

What will I receive when my audiobook is ready?

You'll receive a download link with two options:

• Multiple files: one audio file per chapter/section of your EPUB, perfect for skipping between chapters.
• Single file: one big merged audio file, ideal for uninterrupted listening.

You can also choose between MP3 and FLAC format (FLAC is lossless and offers even higher audio quality). Play them on any device, or use them however you like (listen, share, sell, distribute, publish, etc...).

How long does it take to get my audiobook?

It depends on your EPUB's length and when you place your order.

To keep our costs (and your price 😉) low, we generate audiobooks in batches. Depending on the batch your order lands in, it may take a little more or less time. But no matter what happens, it'll never take more than 24 hours.

Do I completely own the created audiobook?

Absolutely.

As outlined in our Terms of Use, provided you hold the rightful ownership or licensing rights to the source material, the audiobook generated through Audiobookify becomes your complete intellectual property.

You retain full commercial and distribution rights, allowing you to monetize, distribute, or utilize the audiobook in any manner you see fit.

Can I sell my created audiobook?

Yes, you own full rights to the audiobook files we create for you. This means you can sell them, share them, publish them, edit them, modify them, or use them however you see fit.

Whether you want to sell directly to readers, distribute through various channels, or bundle them with other products, the choice is entirely yours. There are no restrictions or royalty requirements from our end.

Do you offer different quality options?

Yes! We offer two options:

• Basic Quality voices: our cost-optimized AI model.
• Premium Quality voices: completely indistinguishable from a human narrator.

Do you offer refunds?

Since generating an audiobook requires expensive GPU/server resources, we can't offer refunds after it's been created. That's why we suggest you to check the voice and models samples before you order. And some people also prefer to test Audiobookify with a short, inexpensive book first!

What language do you support?

Our 'Basic Quality' option supports English only.

Our 'Premium Quality' option supports these languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Polish, and Swedish.

If you need a different language, do not hesitate to contact us.

I don't trust you, how can I be sure I'll get my audiobook?

You can't be sure, welcome to the internet 😉.

But seriously, if you're unsure, you can always test the service with a short or inexpensive book to see how it works before ordering a full-length one.
